Amfòra - Natural orange wine, maceration in amphora of clay, organic, sulfite free - IGP Country of Hérault, Coteaux de Bessilles
Natural orange wine and pet'nat'(sparkling wine) in amphora of clay, organic, sulfite-free. An ancestral method associated with the history of the Greco-Roman terroir of Villa Noria, offering a unique, authentic and respectful tasting experience.
Amfora, which means "amphora" in Occitan, embodies the ancestral tradition of vinification in clay amphora, revisited by Villa Noria. Located in the heart of the terroir of the Coteaux de Bessilles, in the Hérault, our vineyard is anchored in a rich history, where we still find today remains Greek and Roman amphora.
Our range Amfòra offers a orange wine, developed by maceration of white grapes in amphora. The ancient vinification method of terracotta amphora promotes gentle oxygenation, and allows to round the tannins and express all the complexity of the fruit and aromas.
The natural fermentation and the absence of sulfites guarantee a tasting authentic full of freshness and finesse.
Amfòra stands out for its slightly copper orange color, its floral notes (especially rose), embellished with quince and apple keys. It is an atypical vintage, ideal for lovers looking for novelty sensory experiences.
